A little boy runs in front of an Eleventh Night bonfire with a Union flag as a cape. To the left, a lamppost melts and an electrical transformer smokes. Tiger’s Bay, Belfast, Northern Ireland on July 11th, 2011.
I’m going through my photos from Northern Ireland as I prepare to start querying agents for Hooligans in Shining Armour (http://wp.me/P4xRXY-m) and I felt ready share this one as a post. The Twelfth celebrates the victory of Protestant King William of Orange over Catholic King James II at the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.
Please hurry up. I can’t wait to read it!
It’s almost done! Like really almost done now. I’m formatting it to print out for one last read through right now!
That’s very interesting. The boy reminds me of U2’s old album with a boy on the cover. I love their old songs. I have all of my favorites. But, they have a different company, so their music has changed. Artists change according to circumstances. Anyhow, Sarah I always enjoy reading your blog.
The one with the boy in the helmet? I’m honored for the comparison! Yeah, I definitely like their old music better. Thanks for the comment on my pic and I’m glad you enjoy my blog. I do my best 🙂
